Overview
Over the last 70 days, we have acquired the former Wild/ADM Beloit, Wisconsin aseptic plant and effectively started up and re-commissioned all major components of the 63,000 square foot plant’s infrastructure. We have hired highly qualified Directors of Engineering, Food Safety and Finance as well as other key employees. By the fall, we expect to have a total 45 employees and be in full operation. Administration office renovations are well underway and we will have a new dedicated conference area to meet and greet our Trading Partners and Clients. We expect the plant to be fully FDA validated and ready to process aseptic production on or before September 1, 2017.
Low & High Acid Aseptic Filling
TRU will be the only plant in North America to be able to blend, compound, unitize and aseptically fill both low and high acid products including coffee, tea, vegetable juice, fruit juice, smoothie, dairy and plant-based dairy alternative ingredients.
Bag in Box Filler
We have ordered a very advanced, high speed, low and high acid bag in box filler from Alfa Laval Model HS-LA -1H/1. This filler uses a FDA-approved non-steam sterilization process that allows the use of any type of international standard 1-inch fitment. This provides our clients with both significant cost savings advantages as well as freedom of choice for bag and fitment selection.
Bulk Filler (Drums / Totes)
Construction is underway at the Liqui-Box Ohio plant for a completely factory-rebuilt Star Asept filler to do aseptic bulk filling of drums and totes. This filler is highly efficient and features a patented sterilization chamber to ensure a closed sterile environment during sterilization, filling and re-capping.

Juice Products Association Annual Meeting, April 2 – 4, 2017
Our Founding Partners Jim Hurley and Scott Eckman will be attending the 2017 Juice Products Association Annual Meeting in Carlsbad, California. They look forward to meeting with friends, suppliers and new customers to introduce TRU Aseptics Beloit facility and related new bulk and bag in box fillers that will provide compounding, blending and unitized packaging.
Aseptipak USA 2017 Conference, June 20 – 22, 2017
Other exciting events at TRU include attending and presenting at Aseptipak USA 2017 at the Westin Chicago Northwest in Itasca, Illinois. On June 22, Aseptipak will be organizing a tour of our new TRU Aseptics Beloit facility to conference attendees.
