TRU recently participated in Aseptipak, a two-day global conference focused entirely on aseptic and ESL processing, filling and packing. The meeting brought together industry experts to discuss market developments and innovative technologies for food, beverage, dairy and nutraceutical applications. TRU’s Co-Founder and CEO, James Hurley, was a keynote speaker at the event. He was joined by Jacopo Montali, Global Technology Unit Manger from Alfa Laval, to discuss the unique features of TRU’s Alfa Laval Bag-in-Box filler.

Nearly 50 Aseptipak attendees made a visit to TRU and were given a tour of the facility which included an up-close view of the Alfa Laval filler, as well as a live demo of the machine filling actual bags. The Alfa Laval filler is the first of its kind in North America and one of six in the world. It uses hydrogen peroxide for sterilization in the filling chamber and is able to accommodate almost any standard 1-inch fitment. This will give our customers the flexibility to choose any fitment and bag to meet their specific needs. Attendees were also able to learn more about our Liqui-Box Star Asept bulk filler and our processing equipment.

TRU Aseptics is an aseptic contract manufacturer offering both low and high acid aseptic processing and packing under one roof. TRU expects to be fully FDA validated by Labor Day.
